S4L Awards Chyann Holifield Orthodontic Scholarship
Rector High School 8th grader Chyann Holifield received her braces today! After reading her application the Board of Directors decided that Chyann would definitely benefit from braces and use her beautiful new smile to help others. The application read as follows, "She is a wonderful lady who has overcome a lot. She deserves to have that confidence and to feel good about herself. As you know, children can be mean sometimes but Chyann always seems to rise above the teasing and it has made her more aware of how she treats people. She has more compassion for other kids that get teased like she does and she takes them under her wing and makes sure they know they have a friend in her always." Way to go Chyanne and congratulations on beginning the road to your new smile.

Several other letters of recommendation accompanied Abria's application and all spoke of what a wonderful young lady she is. Congratulations Abria!
